Japchae (Quick Korean Noodle Stir-Fry)


This quick and easy Japchae (Korean Noodle Stir-Fry) recipe takes less than 30 minutes to make, it's easy to customize with whatever veggies and protein you have on hand (or it can be vegan if you go with tofu or veggies-only), and it's totally delicious.

Ingredients
∙ Serves 4-6
Meat
1 lb Sirloin or flank steak
Produce
3 handfuls Baby spinach, fresh
1 Carrot, large
3 Garlic cloves
1 Red bell pepper
6 Shiitake mushrooms
1/2 White onion, medium
Condiments
2 tbsp Maple syrup
4 tbsp Soy sauce, low-sodium
1 tbsp Soy sauce
Baking & spices
1 Kosher salt and freshly-cracked black pepper
Oils & vinegars
2 tbsp Olive oil
1 tbsp Sesame oil, toasted
Other
8 ounces dangmyeon (sweet potato starch noodles)*
